Job summary

Grand Rapids Kroc Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, seeks a General Manager to lead the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center. You will oversee daily operations, responsibilities for programming, marketing, and HR, and work with the Senior Kroc Officer on budget and strategy.

The role requires a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, govern risk, and drive continuous improvement while representing the center in community forums.

Qualifications

• Masters’ Degree in Business Administration, Recreation Management, Public Administration, Non-Profit Management, or relevant field.
• Minimum five years of experience in program development, planning, management, and evaluation for non-profit programs, including administering budgets, planning, staff development, membership service and community relations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain overall strategies, priorities, and direction with the leadership team.
• Oversee day-to-day operational activities of the center.
• Direct and coordinate center programming, marketing efforts, and staffing needs.
• Ensure risk management and emergency procedures are implemented.
• Conduct facility inspections and coordinate repairs, remodeling, and equipment.
