The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a General Manager for the Ray and Joan Kroc Corp Community Center in Chicago. This role provides direction and oversight of operations, facility, business, and programs to maximize capacity and ensure financial soundness aligned with the organization’s mission.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Recreation Management or related field.
• Non-Profit management experience preferred.
• Master's degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate annual operating budgets.
• Provide leadership for fiscally sound programs within budget.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, HR requirements, and business development.
• Ensure staff scheduling provides appropriate service and coverage.
• Manage capital improvement plans with Kroc Officers and HQ.
• Ensure purchasing, safety policies, and facility maintenance.
• Coordinate with IT and marketing to ensure facility operations.
• Maintain Kroc Center standards to achieve Gold Level rating.
