RHA Health Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional to provide direct care and support for individuals with disabilities in the community as part of waiver services. You will help individuals identify needs, implement plans, and support daily living activities in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred (TN)).
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Requires conflict resolution, decision making and good communication skills.
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance and protect confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Promote healthy living and prevent illness and accidents.
• Support self-advocacy and informed decision-making for individuals.
• Accompany individuals to work, events, and community activities.
• Teach independent living skills and provide transportation as needed.
• Document care provided and educate on rights and responsibilities.
