The role involves assisting with daily living activities, coordinating transportation, and maintaining documentation under supervision in a person-centered, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass pre-employment screening.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to person-centered support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to foster independence while providing necessary support.
• Knowledge of disability rights, self-advocacy, and community integration principles.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ human, legal, and civil rights.
• Promote health and safety and support wellness initiatives.
• Encourage self-advocacy and empower individuals to make choices.
• Facilitate community engagement and accompany individuals to activities.
• Teach independent living skills and assist with personal care.
• Provide transportation for appointments and community activities.
• Support relationship-building and social connections in the community.
• Assist with medication administration per state laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of provided services and support.
