Job summary

Direct Support Professional-Waiver/ CV/ FT at RHA Health Services! This entry-level role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health or substance use needs in the community and home. You will help clients identify goals and access services outlined in their Centered Plan while acting as advocate, coach, and companion.

Pay range: $15.00/hr. Schedule: Full-Time 3rd shift / Monday-Friday 10p-8a and every other weekend 7p-7a.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred (TN)).
• At least 18 years of age and valid driver's license may be required.
• Background checks including criminal, OIG, Child Abuse Registry, and credentialing per position requirements.

Responsibilities

• Promote healthy living and prevent illness.
• Support self-advocacy and respect individual choice.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Help with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Document care provided and communicate progress.
• Protect confidentiality and rights of individuals.
