Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Petoskey, MI is seeking a Client Care and Community Relations Coordinator to proactively build relationships, secure new business, and ensure responsive service for clients, families, and caregivers. The role covers Cheboygan, Emmet, Charlevoix, Antrim, Otsego counties with frequent regional travel.

You will collaborate with local coordinators, manage client onboarding, and oversee schedule alignment to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent career experience preferred.
• Supervisory, leadership and coaching experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel within the region regularly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an accessible local point person for clients and families, building trust through regular communication.
• Conduct in-home consultations to understand client goals and coordinate next steps.
• Oversee transitions from inquiry to active services, clarifying care plans and contacts.
• Collaborate with scheduling, care coordinators, and nursing to support reliable service delivery.
• Build relationships with referral partners and community organizations to support growth.
• Address client and family concerns promptly and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Document activity and updates in the electronic records system.
