Job summary

Comfort Keepers Northern Lower Michigan is seeking a Client Care and Community Relations Coordinator to actively manage client and family relationships, coordinate care and scheduling, and drive community partnerships across Cheboygan, Emmet, Charlevoix, Antrim, Otsego, and surrounding counties.

The role requires travel to client homes, partner sites, and events, collaborating with the Petoskey-based team while supporting onboarding, communication, and care planning from inquiry through service

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent career experience preferred.
• Supervisory, leadership and/or coaching experience preferred.
• Must pass a nationwide background check.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the region required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as accessible local point person for clients and families, building trust through regular communication and home visits.
• Conduct in-home consultations to understand client goals, preferences, support needs, and family expectations; explain services and next steps.
• Oversee transition from inquiry to active services with clear communication about care plan and scheduling.
• Coordinate with scheduling, care coordinator, and nursing to support consistent care and reliable service delivery.
• Collaborate with Internal Care Coordinator and Administrative Assistant to ensure follow-up, visits, satisfaction calls, and reassessments are completed.
• Represent Comfort Keepers at community events, educate partners about services, and support referrals and service starts.
