Job summary

Transitions Behavioral Health seeks a Community Behavioral Health Manager to coordinate supportive services for direct service providers serving clients with developmental or mental health needs in the Ohio area.

The role includes 1:1 and group supervision, attendance at team meetings, and ongoing staff development. A degree in Psychology or related field is preferred and relevant experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in applied behavior analysis or related evidenced-based practice with individuals with developmental or mental health disorders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; timely documentation following company requirements.
• Excellent teamwork and leadership; adherence to policies, procedures, and background checks.
• Knowledge of computer use, internet navigation, email, and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services to direct service providers working with children and/or adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, emotional disturbances, and mental health needs.
• Receive supervision from Transitions Directors, Supervisors, and Mental Health Supervisors through observation, meetings, or videos.
• Attend team meetings, staff development sessions, and trainings per staff development plans.
• Supervise others providing direct evidence-based techniques as needed.
• Serve as QMHS (Qualified Mental Health Specialist) when required.
