Job summary

Signature Health is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) in Ohio to support clients and families through treatment planning and community resources. You will provide transportation, coordinate services, and maintain confidential client records, collaborating closely with the treatment team.

The role emphasizes client-centered care, crisis support, and adherence to HIPAA, with opportunities for telehealth and professional development. Strong driving record and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related social services field preferred.
• 1–3+ years of case management or relevant experience preferred.
• CDCA preferred.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare and present treatment program materials to clients.
• Provide transportation to clients to access resources as part of treatment plans.
• Maintain clear communication and professional boundaries with clients.
• Assist in accessing and developing sober support networks.
• Collaborate with client’s treatment team.
• Serve adult and child clients with educational, medical, housing, and daily living support.
• Engage clients in treatment activities and follow up on participation.
• Maintain client charts electronically per Medicaid, ODMHAS, CARF standards.
• Participate in crisis intervention and community outreach.
