Job summary

The State of Colorado, Department of Corrections, is seeking a licensed mental health professional in Colorado Springs to plan, define, organize and implement community transition services for inmates and parolees. This role focuses on continuity of care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and reducing recidivism through evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in mental health assessment, treatment and monitoring.
• At least 2 years of licensed professional experience in a mental health field.
• Ability to supervise staff and provide coaching and performance evaluation.
• Strong communication and collaboration across facilities and parole.

Responsibilities

• Plan, define, organize and implement community transition services for inmates and parolees.
• Provide clinical consultation and service coordination for transition plans.
• Develop and deliver training for CDOC, Division of Parole and community organizations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and reduce recidivism.
