State of Colorado is seeking a licensed mental health professional to oversee clinical services for offenders at a Denver-area facility. You will ensure compliance with standards and coordinate with staff to develop effective treatment plans for individuals with mental health needs.

You will train staff, manage crises, and lead a team to maintain high-quality patient care while navigating the unique challenges of a correctional environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold one or more current licenses from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
• Two (2) years of licensed or licensure-candidacy experience with mental health and/or sex offender populations.

Responsabilités

• Plan, direct, and maintain delivery of mental health services in compliance with guidelines and resource use.
• Coordinate with facility administration and clinical staff on offenders' mental health needs and treatment plans.
• Provide training on mental health issues; manage psychiatric crises and emergencies.
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance; advise on hiring and corrective actions with proper documentation.
• Maintain compliance with mental health standards and liaise with clinical and external entities.
• Facilitate clear, accurate communications and teamwork across units and departments.
• Oversee payroll entries and day-to-day mental health operations.
• Act as a consultant and train providers on treating incarcerated offenders with mental illness.
