Job summary

Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is seeking a Therapeutic Mentor/Therapeutic Training and Support Staff to deliver community-based services to youth and families. The role emphasizes skill coaching, behavior management, and evidence-based practices within the home and community setting.

Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, with eligibility for a $2,000 bilingual bonus and license/registration reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred, or Associate's degree in the same field or Community Health Worker Certification.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with youth and families in need of behavioral management to address mental health concerns or specific target populations.
• Ability to learn the needs of the youth under our care and their families; a willingness to offer a variety of interventions and treatments required by this population.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle as transporting youth is required.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Community-Based Home Intervention (CBHI) services to children, adolescents, and their families.
• Foster positive relationships with external agencies, families, and other parties involved.
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team that collaborates to identify effective methods for guiding and supporting youth in the community.
• Assist in the clinical care of youth and their families in home and community-based environments.
