Job summary

CTS Health in Hickory, NC seeks a Licensed Substance Abuse Professional to join the Community Support Team, delivering intensive community-based services for individuals with substance use and co-occurring behavioral health needs.

You will support recovery goals, crisis response, and care coordination in home, school, and community settings while adhering to confidentiality and CTS Health policies.

Qualifications

• Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) credential required.
• Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) credential.
• LCAS-A or CADC credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized substance use disorder interventions and recovery support services.
• Develop relapse prevention and disease management strategies.
• Deliver psychoeducation related to recovery, wellness, and behavioral health needs.
• Support self-management skills for long-term recovery.
• Develop, implement, and revise Person-Centered Plans (PCPs).
• Provide intensive case management and coordinate access to community resources.
• Connect clients with formal and informal support systems.
• Monitor progress and report outcomes to CST Team Lead.
• Assist clients in locating and maintaining stable housing.
• Help access financial assistance and community resources.
• Support rehousing when necessary and build daily living skills.
• Assist with crisis intervention and stabilization services.
• Participate in CST coverage for client needs and emergencies.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely; maintain confidentiality.
