Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) credential required.
• Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) credential.
• LCAS-A or CADC credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized substance use disorder interventions and recovery support services.
• Develop relapse prevention and disease management strategies.
• Deliver psychoeducation related to recovery, wellness, and behavioral health needs.
• Support self-management skills for long-term recovery.
• Develop, implement, and revise Person-Centered Plans (PCPs).

Job Details: Job Location: NC Clinic - Hickory, NC 28602, We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Substance Abuse Professional to join our Community Support Team (CST) and provide specialized support to individuals with substance use and co-occurring behavioral health challenges.

Position Summary

As a CST Licensed Substance Abuse Professional, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team supporting individuals with substance use and behavioral health needs. You will provide intensive community-based services, recovery-focused interventions, crisis support, and care coordination in home, school, and community settings.

Your expertise will help clients develop the skills, supports, and strategies necessary to reduce symptoms, maintain recovery, and achieve greater independence.

What You\'ll Do

Substance Use & Recovery Services

• Provide specialized substance use disorder interventions and recovery support services.
• Assist clients in developing relapse prevention and disease management strategies.
• Deliver psychoeducation related to recovery, wellness, and behavioral health needs.
• Support clients in developing self-management skills that promote long-term recovery and stability.

Client Support & Care Coordination

• Participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing revision of Person-Centered Plans (PCPs).
• Provide intensive case management services and coordinate access to community resources.
• Connect clients with formal and informal support systems that promote recovery and independence.
• Monitor client progress and communicate treatment outcomes with the CST Team Lead and treatment team.

Housing & Community Integration

• Assist clients in locating and maintaining stable housing.
• Support access to financial assistance, community resources, and other essential services.
• Help prevent housing crises and support rehousing efforts when necessary.
• Assist individuals in developing daily living skills that support long-term community stability.

Crisis Response & Documentation

• Assist with crisis intervention and stabilization services as part of the CST team.
• Participate in CST team coverage to support client needs and emergency response requirements.
• Complete documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with agency policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Education and Experience Requirements: Required Credentials

• Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS)
• Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS)
• Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCAS-A)
• Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)

Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the population served.
• Experience providing substance use disorder services and community-based behavioral health support preferred.
