Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) in Lebanon, PA is seeking a Master’s Level Family Counselor (FBMHP) to join our Family Based Mental Health program. This full-time role delivers intensive, community-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families with complex needs, using the ESFT model and receiving employer-paid training toward certification.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a related field, at least 2 years of experience with children/families, and a willingness

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in human services such as counseling, psychology, social work, criminal justice, education or rehabilitation.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and/or families in a CASSP-related program.
• Volunteer and internship experience count toward experience.
• Ability to transport clients in your own car and hold a valid driver’s license with clear record.
• Ability to provide services in home, school, and community locations.
• Willingness to participate in on-call coverage on rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions, crisis response, and case management to help families navigate mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with parents/caregivers to strengthen family relationships and develop behavioral strategies.
• Deliver community-based family therapy in home, school, and community locations.
• Partner with a Bachelor’s-level Mental Health Worker to serve up to 8 families at a time.
• Participate in weekly supervision and group/team supervision for clinical growth.
• On-call crisis consultation and rotating on-call schedule when needed.
