Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Master’s Level Family Counselor (FBMHP) to join our Family Based Mental Health team. This full-time, on-site role uses the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) model and offers comprehensive employer-paid training toward licensure and supervision.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human services field is required (e.g., counseling, psychology, social work, criminal justice, education, rehabilitation).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and/or families in a CASSP-related program. Volunteer and internship experience count toward experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to transport clients in own car; access to a vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions, crisis response, and case management to help families navigate mental health challenges.
• Work with parents and caregivers to strengthen relationships and develop behavioral strategies for children.
• Deliver community-based family therapy in home, school, and community locations.
