Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services Inc. invites applicants for a Masters Level Family Counselor (FBMHP) to join our Family Based Mental Health program in York, PA.

You will provide intensive, community-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families using the ESFT model and receive comprehensive employer-paid training leading to certification. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in the field of human services (counseling, psychology, social work, criminal justice, education, rehabilitation).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and/or families in a CASSP-related program.
• Ability to transport clients in own car with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to provide services in home, school, and community locations.
• Ability to participate in on-call coverage on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions, crisis response, and case management to help families navigate mental health challenges.
• Work closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen family relationships and develop effective behavioral strategies for their children.
• Deliver community-based family therapy in home, school, and community locations.
• Partner with a Bachelor’s-level Mental Health Worker to provide services to up to 8 families at a time.
• Participate in weekly supervision and group/team supervision for clinical support and growth.
• Receive on-call crisis consultation and participate in rotating on-call schedule when needed.
