Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is seeking a Master’s Level Family Counselor (FBMHP) to join our Family Based Mental Health program. This is an opportunity to provide intensive, community-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families with complex needs in Reading, PA.

We offer comprehensive employer-paid training in ESFT leading to certification, FREE supervision for licensure, weekly supervision, and a collaborative team environment to support your clinical growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in fields such as counseling, psychology, social work, criminal justice, education, rehabilitation.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and/or families in CASSP-related programs.
• Ability to transport clients in your own car.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
• Ability to provide services in home, school, and community settings.
• Willingness to participate in on-call coverage on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions, crisis response, and case management to help families navigate mental health challenges.
• Work closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen family relationships and develop effective behavioral strategies.
• Deliver community-based family therapy in home, school, and community locations.
• Partner with a Bachelor’s-level Mental Health Worker to provide services to up to 8 families at a time.
• Participate in weekly supervision and rotating on-call coverage for clinical support.
