Job summary

Savio House seeks licensed or eligible clinicians to join our Multisystemic Therapy (MST) and family‑based treatment teams. You will work with youth aged 12–17 and their families, engaging caregivers, and leading collaborative, goal‑driven sessions that promote safety and long‑term change.

Qualifications

  • MSW or other Masters in related counseling.
  • DORA registration as licensed or candidate for LPC (LPCC), LCSW (SWC), LMFT (LMFTC), or NLC licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily engaging caregivers & other key participants in active, change‑orientated treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to progress.
  • Cultivating growth in the whole family unit to empower families to solve their own problems.
  • Collaborating with families and allowing them to take the lead in setting treatment goals.
  • Keeping youth in their homes, minimizing safety risks and further legal charges.
  • The MST treatment model is an ecological therapeutic intervention for youth aged 12-17 who exhibit high risk behaviors, including substance use, runaway, and truancy.
  • MST therapists work with families, youth and other key members of their ecology to empower families to address challenging behavior and make long term change.

Education

MSW or related Masters (LPC/LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or NLC licensure helpful)

Salary

Starting without Masters: $48,660 (Bilingual $53,660)

Starting with masters/candidacy (LPCC, SWC, MFTC): $58,660 (Bilingual $63,660)

Starting Licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT): $61,660 (Bilingual $66,660)

Supervision towards professional licenses provided in this role.

Teams
Multisystemic Therapy Team (Models: Multisystemic Therapy)

Locations: Denver/Denver Metro Area, Northern Colorado, Colorado Springs and surrounding areas, Eastern Plains of Colorado, Western Slope of Colorado.

  • Primarily engaging caregivers & other key participants in active, change‑orientated treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to progress
  • Cultivating growth in the whole family unit to empower families to solve their own problems
  • Collaborating with families and allowing them to take the lead in setting treatment goals
  • Keeping youth in their homes, minimizing safety risks and further legal charges.
  • The MST treatment model is an ecological therapeutic intervention for youth aged 12-17 who exhibit high risk behaviors, including substance use, runaway, and truancy.
  • MST therapists work with families, youth and other key members of their ecology to empower families to address challenging behavior and make long term change.
  • Maintain small caseload of 4-6 families

Quarterly MST training to maintain and grow competency.

Family Wellness and Trauma Specialist Teams (Models: TF‑CBT, TST)

Locations: Denver, Fort Collins, Boulder, Greeley, Colorado Springs, Castlerock.

  • Engage caregivers who are facing challenging and complex issues that are impacting their children’s well‑being and safety
  • Focused on improving child safety and/or helping children heal from the impact of trauma.
  • Provide two‑generation trauma treatment with evidence‑based practices

Child First Developmental Team (Model: CPP)

Locations: Denver, Colorado Springs

  • Help caregivers understand typical developmental challenges and expectations
  • Increase caregivers’ ability to reflect on the meaning and feelings motivating a child’s behavior
  • Support caregivers’ problem solving
  • Help caregivers understand the psychodynamic relationship between parental feelings, history, and the caregiver response to the child. The clinician also provides consultation to teachers in early care and education settings, as needed.

Sexual Abuse Intervention Team (Models: TF‑CBT, EMDR)

Locations: Denver area

  • Have a strengths‑based and trauma‑informed perspective of adolescents who have committed sexual offenses and victims of sexual offenses
  • Have a passion for engaging youth ages 5-18 and their families who need to heal from past traumas

Family Functional Therapy Team (Models: FFT, FFT‑G)

Locations: Denver, western slope, eastern plains

  • Working with adolescents and their family system who are struggling with problem behaviors
  • Meeting with the whole family 100% of the time and lead to healing through creating communication, safety, and hope within the family unit to overcome their problems

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MSW or other Masters in related counseling, psychology or related field (Bachelors with extensive experience considered on a case by case basis)
  • DORA registration as licensed or candidate for LPC (LPCC), LCSW (SWC), LMFT (LMFTC), or NLC licensure
