Job summary

Savio is hiring Multisystemic Therapy (MST) therapists for in-home services in Boulder County and surrounding areas, focused on youth 12-17 with behavioral issues. The role involves working in families’ homes and communities with flexible, autonomous scheduling.

Starting pay offers growth with licensure supervision and paid MST training. New grads welcome and supervision toward licensure is provided, along with mileage reimbursements and equipment support.

Qualifications

• Master’s in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field.
• Bachelor’s with extensive experience considered on a case-by-case basis.
• DORA registration to provide therapy (LPCC, MFTC, SWC).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a small, intensive caseload of 5–6 families.
• Conduct therapy in the community and in families’ homes.
• Use CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Behavior Modification, Structural and Strategic Family Therapies.
• Prevent out-of-home placement or incarceration.
• Break cycle of system involvement.
• Empower families to create lasting change.
• Engage primary caregivers and key participants in treatment.
• Attend weekly group supervision and expert consultation.

Savio is hiring family therapists! Savio will pay for training for therapists to provide Multisystemic Therapy.

Description

MST (Multisystemic Therapy) is a scientifically proven treatment model that targets youth 12-17 who are exhibiting delinquent type behaviors such as running away, substance use, defiance, aggression, and truancy. Therapists work closely with parents and caregivers to leverage change by working in families’ homes and in the community.

This position provides in-home services for the Boulder County and surrounding counties.

What does an MST therapist do?

• Maintain small, intensive caseload of 5-6 families.

Salary:

Starting with candidacy (LPCC, SWC, MFTC): $58,660

Starting Licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT): $61,660

Starting MA Bilingual: $63,660
