Job summary

Savio is hiring Multisystemic Therapy (MST) therapists to provide in-home services across the Denver metro area. The role focuses on youth 12–17 with delinquent-type behaviors, partnering with families to drive lasting change using evidence-based approaches.

Earn supervision toward licensure, with a flexible and autonomous schedule in a supportive team. Training for MST is provided at Savio, including travel within the Denver region.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in relevant field required or equivalent experience.
• DORA licensure or eligibility to obtain LPCC/MFTC/SWC.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home therapy to families in the Denver metro area.
• Maintain a small caseload of 5–6 families.
• Engage parents and caregivers using CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and family therapies.
• Meet weekly for group supervision and expert consultation.
• Support licensure progression through supervision toward certification.

Savio is hiring family therapists! Savio will pay for training for therapists to provide Multisystemic Therapy.

Description

MST (Multisystemic Therapy) is a scientifically proven treatment model that targets youth 12-17 who are exhibiting delinquent-type behaviors such as running away, substance use, defiance, aggression, and truancy. Therapists work closely with parents and caregivers to leverage change by working in families’ homes and in the community.

This position provides in-home services for the Denver metro area.

What does an MST therapist do?

• Maintain small, intensive caseload of 5-6 families.
• Conduct therapy in the community, in families’ homes.
• Use the following theories: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Behavior Modification, Structural and Strategic Family Therapies.
• Prevent out of home placement/incarceration.
• Break cycle of system involvement
• Empower families to create lasting change
• Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment.
• Meet weekly for group supervision and expert consultation.

Salary:

Starting with candidacy (LPCC, SWC, MFTC): $58,660

Starting Licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT): $61,660

Starting MA Bilingual: $63,660

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
