Job summary

Center for Justice Innovation in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Community-Based Clinician for the Supervised Release Program. You will conduct intakes, deliver crisis intervention, and coordinate services to support adherence to court mandates.

The role requires a Master’s in social work or related field, LMSW or license preferred, and experience with trauma-informed practices and diverse populations. In-person, full-time with potential after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or a mental health field.
• Experience in pretrial, court-based, or criminal legal systems preferred.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation experience required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with trauma-informed and strength-based approaches preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and develop service plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Deliver comprehensive case management and coordinate community referrals.
• Ensure accurate and timely court reporting and documentation.
• Engage with stakeholders including judges, prosecutors, and attorneys.
• Attend supervision and trainings to develop program expertise.
