Job summary

Center for Justice Innovation in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Court-Based Clinician for its Supervised Release Program. You will conduct intakes, provide crisis intervention, and connect participants with essential services to support court compliance.

Reporting to the Clinical Intake Coordinator, you will lead CBT-informed sessions, coordinate referrals, and ensure timely data entry and reporting. This in-person role requires weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and direct practice experience are required.
• Experience in pretrial, court-based, or criminal legal system is preferred.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills are required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Deliver cognitive behavioral therapy–informed sessions and linked programming.
• Coordinate referrals to community services and monitor compliance.
• Maintain accurate data entry and timely court reporting.
• Develop individual service plans addressing criminogenic needs and responsivity factors.
