Job summary

William Douglas Management in Charlotte, NC is seeking a dedicated Community Manager to build strong relationships with boards, homeowners, and vendors. You will manage a portfolio of HOA communities, conduct inspections, and support budgets and board meetings.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years HOA experience, strong communication, organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of HOA or community association management experience preferred.
• Proactive, adaptable, independent problem-solver in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with Board members, homeowners, vendors, and contractors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of homeowner associations.
• Conduct regular inspections of common areas and amenities and identify needs.
• Assist Boards with rule enforcement and homeowner communications.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors and follow up on service projects.
• Help Boards review financial statements, prepare budgets, and monitor finances.
• Organize and lead Board meetings, annual meetings, elections, and events.
• Prepare meeting materials, reports, and correspondence.
