Responsibilities

  • Conduct enrollment for the Right Tracks program and help families complete applications and screenings.
  • Provide referrals to community resources and early childhood services based on family needs.
  • Coordinate classes, trainings, activities, appointments and events; arrange transportation when needed.
  • Collect participant information, maintain files, and assist with data reporting and program tracking.

Salary Range: $19.20 To $23.99 Hourly

SCOPE OF WORK: The Community Assistant (Right Tracks) will support the Early Childhood Tracking Program by assisting families with enrollment, developmental screenings, referrals, and access to community resources. The position will coordinate family activities, classes, appointments, and events; maintain accurate records and data; provide administrative support; and assist staff in promoting positive early childhood development and family engagement.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist families and program staff with implementing teaching and learning strategies, developmental activities, curriculum support, and the development and evaluation of IEPs/IFSPs.
  • Conduct enrollment for the Right Tracks program and assist families with completing applications, developmental screenings, ASQ questionnaires, checklist books, and other required program documentation.
  • Provide referrals and connections to appropriate community resources, service providers, and early childhood services based on the needs of children and families.
  • Coordinate logistics for parenting classes, trainings, child and family activities, appointments, and community events, including scheduling facilities and providing transportation when needed.
  • Collect and enter participant information and supporting documentation, maintain accurate and complete files and records, and assist with data reporting and program tracking requirements.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support, prepare correspondence and documents, document inquiries and concerns, and work collaboratively with program staff to support the goals and activities of the Early Childhood Tracking System.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-Year degree in Human Services, Early Childhood Education, or related field. Will consider High School Diploma/GED with experience.
  • Valid driver's license

SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

TESTING AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

Subject to pre-employment, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing.

Tribal, State, and Federal background investigation.

HIRING PREFERENCES:

Qualified applicants who are enrolled members of a federally recognized Tribe will receive Native American preference.

Qualified applicants will receive Veteran's Preference with submission of proof of honorable military service (e.g., DD-214).
