Job summary

NRP Group in Selma, NC is seeking a Community Assistant for our Quincy at Eastfield property. You will support daily property operations and deliver excellent resident service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include leasing support, resident communication, coordinating maintenance, and assisting the Community Manager in their absence. A high school diploma is required; LIHTC knowledge is a plus. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college preferred, Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) accreditation or any LIHTC designations preferred
• Experience: One‑year property management experience or 4‑year degree in a related field; knowledge of Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing Regulations, IRS Section 42 LIHTC Program and related guidelines

Responsibilities

• Maximize cash flow at the property by optimizing revenue and minimizing delinquencies
• Ensure Yardi data accuracy and timely leasing activities
• Assist Community Manager in achieving revenue goals and renewals
• Maintain resident files and payroll reporting
• Support leasing activities and show apartments, qualify applicants, prepare move-in paperwork
• Monitor market trends and conduct market studies bi‑monthly
• Assist with compliance with Fair Housing and other occupancy regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and coordinate resident events
• Perform daily property inspections and oversee service requests
