Job summary

NRP Group is seeking a Community Assistant at our market-rate Quincy at Eastfield property in Selma, NC. Under the Community Manager, you will handle daily operations, leasing support, and resident services to create a quality living environment.

The role emphasizes financial administration, marketing support, and customer service, with opportunities for training and growth within the company’s award-winning team. A strong foundation in LIHTC and property management is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Tax Credit Specialist accreditation or LIHTC designations preferred.
• One year of property management experience or a 4-year degree in a related field; knowledge of Landlord-Tenant laws and Fair Housing preferred.
• Experience with IRS Section 42 LIHTC program and occupancy standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize cash flow by increasing revenue, minimizing delinquencies, and ensuring timely rent collection.
• Assist Community Manager with leasing activities and monthly market studies.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming living environment for residents.
• Assist in recruiting and supervising team members; participate in training and growth.
• Maintain and organize resident files and payroll reporting; support compliance with policies.

Education
