Clemson University is seeking a Communications Specialist III - 911 Dispatcher in Seneca, SC. This full-time role handles emergency communications, dispatches Police, Fire and EMS, and supports campus safety operations 24/7.
Responsibilities include operating CAD and multi-line systems, NCIC checks, monitoring campus security equipment, and documenting events. A High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate degree and related 911 certifications are preferred.
Receives and interprets information through telecommunication equipment. Dispatches the information received verbally to personnel within the Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services of Clemson University. Performs fire and medical assistance to the City of Clemson, campus and surrounding counties. Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
