Akkodis is seeking a Communications Specialist for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC(Remote). Candidates must have experience creating content across internal channels like newsletters, intranet, and Viva Engage, with the ability to work quickly under tight deadlines.

Rate Range: $28/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Communications Specialist job responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement internal communication strategies that align with corporate goals and enhance employee engagement.

• Create compelling content for internal channels such as newsletters, intranet pages, Viva Engage, and mass email tools like Poppulo.

• Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to support communication needs, including HR initiatives and organizational updates.

• Support live and virtual meetings by preparing messaging, scripts, and follow-up communications.

• Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness and continuously improve strategies.

• Ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all internal communication platforms.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years in communications, public relations, or a similar role.

• Proven experience creating content for internal channels such as newsletters, intranet, Viva Engage, and mass email tools like Poppulo.

• Background in communications within large, global, matrixed organizations—preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
