We are seeking a dynamic Communications Manager to join the Industry Marketing team. This role is pivotal in enhancing how industry groups engage with external media and manage strategic communication initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a proven ability to drive media strategy, elevate thought leadership, and create compelling, high-impact content.

Must-Have Skills

• 7–10 years of experience in communications, public relations, or related field

Key Responsibilities

Press Office

• Craft compelling press releases highlighting key achievements and insights
• Distribute materials to relevant media outlets and stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze media coverage to refine outreach strategies

Thought Leadership Positioning

• Develop strategies to position executives and subject matter experts as industry thought leaders
• Create content showcasing expertise and innovation
• Collaborate with influencers and industry leaders to extend thought leadership reach

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with media, analysts, and business partners
• Facilitate collaboration between internal industry teams and external stakeholders
• Provide strategic guidance to strengthen communications impact

Content Creation

• Produce content tailored to diverse audiences, including customers, media, and partners
• Utilize storytelling to convey value propositions and leadership
• Oversee projects from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with brand and messaging guidelines

Trend Analysis & Competitive Benchmarking

• Analyze industry trends and competitive activity
• Identify differentiation opportunities and emerging themes
• Develop communications strategy based on data-driven insights

Editing & Proofreading

• Refine content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
• Ensure quality and professionalism across all communications
• Partner with internal writers to enhance effectiveness

Event-Related PR Coordination

• Develop and execute PR strategies for events, conferences, and trade shows
• Manage media relations and press coverage for key events
• Create press kits, speeches, and presentation content
• Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Semrush, Google Analytics) to measure impact
• Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly
• Provide performance reports and strategic insights to stakeholders

This role is part of a close-knit Industry Communications team within the larger Industry Marketing organization. The team is responsible for building a strong communications framework and executing high-impact strategies across industry verticals. Working closely with business and marketing leaders globally, this role offers the chance to shape how industry narratives are crafted and communicated externally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to simplify and translate complex IT or technical concepts
• Experience in event PR and media coordination
• Familiarity with AI and automation tools for sentiment and media monitoring
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 30%
