We are looking forSenior Manager Communications, South East Asia & Australasia to work in ourSingapore office.

About You

In this role, you will contribute to designing and effectively executing global, integrated communications plans aligned with the business vision and strategy and the local/Operating Unit needs and processes to engage customers, media, external stakeholders, and employees, including a clear messaging framework.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Advisor to SEA and Australasia leadership: Consults on leadership messaging, crisis and reputation management, colleague messaging/engagement, social impact programs and etc.

  • Liaison: Acts as a key point of contact for the Senior Director, Communications APAC & China and World Headquarters Center of Expertise (CoE) to ensure delivery of assets and information, effective communication, and program support requests are clearly communicated

  • Colleague Engagement - Coordinates, communicates and distributes Otis-wide, regional and SEA and Australasia programs and messaging ensuring customer and colleague engagement

  • Content Writing: Writes, or collaborates with WHQ Center of Expertise (CoE) teams, to write original and relevant content for Operating Unit leadership messaging, social media, press releases, Otis.com, Connect, etc.

  • Communications initiatives and launch: Provides project coordination and execution for Communications initiatives and Communications events at the local/Operating Unit level. As needed, partners with Brand & Marketing Communications CoEs and local Marketing or business leads to support local, customer or trade events

  • Digital Channel Management: (social media, colleague communication assets, etc.) In partnership with global channels owners/leads, contribute to creating content specific to the geography & manages the geography’s key language-speaking channels (strategy, content)

  • Social Impact: Execute CSR initiatives and ensures that social and environmental concerns and partnerships are identified, promoted and incorporated into country activities and messaging

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications or a related discipline

  • At least 10 years of experience in corporate and marketing communications role in matrix organization

  • Excellent business writing skills, including drafting, editing, and proof-reading, coupled with a passion for storytelling and creative communications

  • Strong planning skills with a demonstrated understanding of the need to align locally, regionally, and globally

  • Ability to establish strong business relationships with internal partners across the business and with regional and global team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Strong collaborator with solid negotiation and stakeholder management skill

  • Ability to produce high-quality, high-volume deliverables in a dynamic environment that aligns with regional and global strategies

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, thrives in fast-paced environments, and deeply aligned with the values of community-building and entrepreneurship

  • Have experience remotely managing agencies to land effective on-the-ground campaigns
