Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an IT Communications Specialist to support the IT Operations organization through strategic executive communications, presentation development, and business storytelling. The role is fully onsite in Juno Beach, FL or Palm Beach Gardens, FL on a 12-month contract with potential to extend or convert.

The candidate will craft executive-level materials, translate technical updates into business-friendly language, and develop concise messaging for leadership

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT corporate communications, including proven experience supporting executive leaders.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to create high-quality presentations from concept through completion.
• Experience translating technical requirements or complex information into simple, easy-to-understand messaging for non-technical audiences.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Communications Specialist to support the IT Operations organization through strategic executive communications, presentation development, and business storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop executive-level presentations, communications, and briefing materials for IT Operations leadership.
• Create and refine PowerPoint presentations from the ground up, including structure, messaging, and visual design.
• Translate technical concepts, operational metrics, and project updates into business-friendly language.
• Synthesize information from multiple sources into concise, audience-appropriate content.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT corporate communications, including proven experience supporting executive leaders.

Technical Skills: Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to create high-quality presentations from concept through completion. Experience translating technical requirements or complex information into simple, easy-to-understand messaging for non-technical audiences is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data visualization, KPIs, operational metrics, and executive reporting.
• Experience working in utilities, energy, or highly regulated industries is a plus.
