Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver cloud-based applications with strong AWS and DevSecOps focus. You will work across frontend (Angular, React, TypeScript) and backend (Java, Node.js) services, building microservices and secure APIs in a hybrid Newport Beach environment.

The role emphasizes end‑to‑end ownership, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and building scalable, resilient systems using modern architectures and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Experience with Angular, React, and TypeScript for web applications.
• Server-side development with Java and Node.js.

Senior Full Stack Engineer (AWS & DevSecOps)

Location: Newport Beach, CA (Hybrid - 4 days onsite per week)

Pay Rate: $70-$74/hr

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, cloud-based applications. This role requires strong expertise across front-end and back-end development, AWS cloud technologies, DevSecOps practices, and modern application architecture. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on engineer who can independently drive feature development from concept through deployment while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver end‑to‑end software solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, from design and development through deployment and support.
• Build and maintain modern web applications using Angular, React, and TypeScript.
• Develop and support scalable backend services using Java and Node.js.
• Design and implement microservices‑based architectures and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and delivery.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, security, and reliability issues.
• Leverage AWS cloud services and serverless technologies to build efficient, resilient solutions.
• Apply DevSecOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong experience building and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and technologies including Angular, React, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in server‑side development using Java and Node.js.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and serverless computing.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful/GraphQL API design.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands‑on experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD tools.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or similar work management platforms.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GenAI technologies, including RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation) and MCP (Model Context Protocol) patterns.
• AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection best practices.
