Job summary

U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command seeks a logistics professional to coordinate materiel planning and verify stock for production. You will monitor contracts and brief management on material issues affecting production, with a path to a COR certification and potential travel.

  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) certification.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service which includes: 1) verifying vendor/contractor compliance with requirements for schedule, cost, and quality; 2) collecting materiel consumption data in order to plan parts requirements for a production or maintenance program AND 3) evaluating problems with supply systems and coordinating requests for system changes.
