Job summary

Acara Solutions is partnering with a fast-growing SaaS company to recruit a Commission Analyst for a 9-12 month remote contract. You will administer monthly earnings, ensure accuracy of compensation calculations, and communicate plan details to sales teams.

The role requires 1+ year in Sales Compensation or Finance, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Salesforce, Xactly, Callidus, Anaplan or similar systems. Remote EST work schedule, standard business hours.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of all commission plans across the sales organization and effectively communicate calculations and rationale
• Calculate and validate monthly variable earnings accurately and on time according to current compensation plans
• Maintain commission tools and reference data, including employee and commission plan information, to accurately pay variable commission; regularly update relevant systems
• Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, and Sales leadership to develop and fine-tune commission plans by providing strategic financial insights and recommendations
• Communicate effectively with plan participants when they have questions, and regularly train plan participants on the structure of their plans

Employment Type: Temporary (3-4 Month Contract, w/ potential for extension)

Compensation: $60.00 - $70.00/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

About the Opportunity:

Acara Solutions is partnering with our customer, one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in the U.S., to find a Commissions Analyst. Key to our customer's success is effectively designing, communicating, implementing, and administering variable compensation plans across the company that accurately incentivize, measure, and reward performance for its team members. As the team driving these initiatives expands to build a best-in-class variable compensation program, the Commissions Analyst will be a key member of that team.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to administer our customer's variable compensation plan, including monthly earnings calculations, communications, and analytics. Beyond day-to-day administration, you will participate in plan design and documentation, helping craft the experience for all plan participants. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to make a significant impact across the entire sales organization.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• 1+ years of Sales Compensation, Sales Operations, or Finance experience
