Job summary

GCON LLC is seeking a Commissioning Manager for on-site work in West Texas. You will own the end-to-end commissioning process from preconstruction strategy through L5 testing and owner turnover, coordinating across project teams, trade partners, clients, and third-party commissioning agents to ensure reliability, redundancy, and code compliance.

You will lead L1–L5 commissioning activities, develop plans and workflows, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 8–10+ years in commissioning on mission-critical or data center projects.
• Experience leading L1–L5 commissioning scopes across phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead L1–L5 commissioning programs for hyperscale data centers.
• Develop commissioning plans, schedules, and level-gate workflows.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and third-party agents.
• Oversee risk management and ensure compliance through phases.
• Lead client meetings and gate reviews with owners and stakeholders.
• Deliver complete commissioning documentation for turnover.
