Job summary

Dufry Careers is seeking a Commissary Manager I to oversee commissary activities at a low-volume location, including purchasing, production, storage, and quality control. You will lead the team, manage costs, and ensure safety and compliance with standards.

The role reports to the General Manager and requires strong computer literacy, vendor coordination, and ability to train staff on equipment and safety. Exempt position at an airport site.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of formal post-high school education; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Requires at least 1 year experience in low volume and/or multi-unit Food and Beverage or Merchandise operations or other related management experience
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook and Word

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, production and storage; set par inventory levels
• Control food and labor costs to maximize profitability
• Ensure food quality, recipe, and portion control standards meet safety standards
• Oversee daily delivery of food items to units and assign tasks to commissary personnel
• Train associates on equipment safety and food safety
