Job summary

Challenge Unlimited Inc. seeks a Supervisor Commissary to manage shelf stocking and janitorial duties at the SAFB Commissary site. The role includes training staff, ensuring safety, and maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site position with a Thurs-Sun 6:00 pm start.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year in retail or supervisory roles, strong communication, and the ability to pass several background checks. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in retail, grocery, or convenience store environment or department manager experience.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or training role.
• Solid oral and written communication skills required.
• Background checks: criminal, state and federal registry, and DCFS Abuse/Neglect checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and clients performing shelf stocking and janitorial duties.
• Provide training, feedback, and coaching to workers; emphasize safety and company culture.
• Complete monthly/quarterly assessments and support scheduling, training, and timekeeping.
• Ensure work and safety procedures meet contract and policy requirements; maintain quality and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with project leadership to manage performance and discipline when necessary.
