Job summary

Challenge Unlimited in Mascoutah, IL is seeking a Supervisor Commissary to oversee shelf stocking and janitorial services at the SAFB Commissary site. This FT evening shift role reports to the Project Manager and emphasizes safety, training, and quality.

You will supervise staff and clients, provide training and feedback, manage timesheets and performance assessments, and ensure compliance with contract requirements while upholding company culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in retail, grocery, or similar environment and at least 1 year in a supervisory or training role.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Must pass criminal background and state/federal registry checks (DCFS checks).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be 21+; travel using personal vehicle not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shelf stocking and janitorial duties at the site per contract.
• Provide training, feedback, and safety coaching to workers; reinforce company culture.
• Assist in scheduling, discipline, and timekeeping; input monthly/quarterly assessments.
• Ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in line with contract requirements.
• Communicate with Project Manager on updates and changes to processes.
