ISS Facility Services / Guckenheimer is seeking a General Manager for a centralized commissary in South San Francisco. The role holds full P&L responsibility, overseeing production, distribution, and profitability across served accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive commissary/central kitchen/distribution ops with direct P&L ownership.
• Strong financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and margin oversight.
• Cross-functional collaboration with sales and client-facing teams.
• Proven leadership managing hourly and supervisory staff.
• ServSafe Manager certification required or to be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L for the commissary, including revenue, cost of goods, labor, and overhead.
• Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reporting with variance analysis.
• Price production and distribution services in line with account agreements and margin targets.
• Drive profitability through efficiency, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Oversee production planning, batch scheduling, and distribution logistics.
• Manage vendor relationships, purchasing, and supply chain efficiency.
• Maintain inventory audits, recordkeeping, and procurement systems.
• Refine workflows to improve delivery speed and reliability.
• Partner with sales on proposals, pricing, and feasibility for new business.
• Assess capacity against the sales pipeline and flag constraints early.
• Build relationships with account operators and client stakeholders.
• Translate client feedback into operational adjustments.
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain staff; coach performance.
• Ensure hiring/training documentation is complete.
