Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial lines insurance sales, production, or account development experience.
• Knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance products, underwriting requirements, and the Florida insurance market.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop new business, build client relationships, and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Generate new commercial lines business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development.
• Identify prospective clients and develop opportunities to grow the agency’s commercial book of business.
• Assess clients’ business operations, risk exposures, and insurance needs to recommend appropriate coverage.
• Market, quote, negotiate, and place commercial insurance policies with insurance carriers.
• Build and maintain relationships with business owners, decision-makers, carriers, and referral partners.
• Prepare proposals and present coverage options, pricing, and recommendations to prospective clients.
• Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through policy placement and transition to the account management or customer service team.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated Commercial Lines Producer to generate new business and grow the agency’s commercial insurance portfolio. This role is responsible for prospecting, developing client relationships, assessing business insurance needs, and marketing and placing commercial insurance policies.

The ideal candidate has strong sales and relationship-building skills, knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance, and the ability to identify opportunities and meet production goals.
