Qualifications

• Active Florida Property & Casualty / 2-20 license.
• At least 1 year of true commercial insurance sales experience.
• Must reside in Florida.
• Demonstrated ability to independently prospect and generate new commercial business.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a commercial insurance book of business through new-business development.
• Prospect through cold calling, canvassing, networking, centers of influence, and events.
• Develop relationships with commercial clients across condo/HOA, habitational, trucking, construction and other markets.
• Use lead-generation tools to identify prospects by industry and geography.
• Create and execute a sales strategy using multiple outreach channels.
• Leverage carrier relationships to identify coverage solutions for clients.
• Attend weekly team meetings and quarterly sales meetings in Pittsburgh.

Position Title: Commercial Lines Insurance Sales Producer

Build a commercial insurance book without being boxed into someone else’s territory, niche, or sales playbook. A growing independent insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Sales Producer to develop new business across Florida while building and owning a book of commercial accounts. This is a true hunter role focused on prospecting, networking, developing centers of influence, and converting opportunities across markets including condo/HOA, habitational, trucking, construction, and other commercial sectors.

The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial insurance sales professional who is ambitious, highly social, and comfortable generating business independently. You will thrive here if you know commercial insurance, enjoy opening doors, and want the autonomy to build a book around your strengths, relationships, and market expertise.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 Base / Year, DOE

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a commercial insurance book of business through consistent new-business development
• Prospect through cold calling, canvassing, networking, centers of influence, industry groups, expos, and other self-directed sales activities
• Develop relationships with commercial clients across industries including condo/HOA, habitational, trucking, construction and other specialty markets
• Use targeted lead-generation tools to identify prospects by industry, geography, revenue, employee count, and existing policy criteria
• Create and execute an individual sales strategy using relationship building, phone outreach, email campaigns, networking, and in-person business development
• Leverage carrier relationships and broad market access to identify coverage solutions that meet client needs
• Participate in weekly virtual team meetings and quarterly company sales meetings in Pittsburgh

Requirements

• Active Florida Property & Casualty / 2-20 insurance license
• At least 1 year of true commercial insurance sales experience
• Must reside in Florida
• Demonstrated ability to independently prospect, develop relationships, and generate new commercial business
• Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance with the ability to operate successfully without extensive foundational training
• Hunter mentality with the drive and discipline to build a book of business from the ground up
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and networking skills
