Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Columbus, IN seeks a Construction Specialist to drive new business within a defined territory. You will identify leads, present our waste and recycling solutions, and close deals with commercial and industrial clients.

The role requires two years in a customer-facing sales role, strong MS Office/CRM skills, and the ability to work with a regional sales team. Travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer-facing sales experience with a proven track record.
• Waste industry experience preferred.
• Contracting experience and/or working with contractors preferred.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
• Proven analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Identifies viable leads, manages prospects, and acquires new profitable commercial, industrial, and recycling businesses to meet revenue goals.
• Uses sales tools to schedule and document activities and develops client profiles for growth.
• Prepares and delivers sales presentations to prospective clients and follows up to close.
• Meets with the Regional Sales Manager to review prospects and targets.
• Prepares complex proposals identifying services and equipment options to grow revenue.
• Communicates pricing and strategies with regional management; assists action plans.
• Maintains monthly/quarterly/annual sales tracking and reporting.
