Job summary

WillScot in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Manager, Commercial Training & Onboarding to lead onboarding for all Commercial roles and drive program execution at the Phoenix Support Center.

The role oversees 2–3 trainers, coordinates with HR, leaders, and SMEs, and delivers structured reinforcement and readiness milestones to accelerate WillScot Way adoption. In-office, with monthly on-site New Hire Training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five years+ experience in training, learning and development, onboarding, sales enablement, or related field (program management and instruction).
• Five years+ direct people leadership experience; leading trainers preferred.
• Experience supporting a sales or Commercial organization and managing role-based onboarding programs is preferred.
• High proficiency in Salesforce; experience with LMS, virtual learning platforms, e-learning software, and authoring tools is preferred.
• Strong program and project management skills, able to manage multiple cohorts, priorities, deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, presentation, public speaking, coaching, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate learning strategies into scalable, repeatable learner experiences without owning overall program architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop trainers and collaborate within a matrix Enablement organization.
• Ability to analyze learner feedback and onboarding data to identify improvements and communicate progress clearly.
• Ability to provide responsive learner and manager support via in-person, virtual, and phone channels.
• This is a 100% in-office role at the Phoenix Support Center, with monthly in-person New Hire Training onsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day onboarding for all Commercial roles, managing schedules, cohorts, logistics, materials, and delivery standards.
• Oversee end-to-end onboarding from pre-boarding to 30/60/90-day readiness with HR and business partners.
• Deliver monthly in-person New Hire Training at the Phoenix Center, coordinating speakers and SMEs to build knowledge of solutions and processes.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2–3 Commercial Trainers with clear priorities and development plans.
• Collaborate with the Enablement team and cross-functional partners to align onboarding with learning journeys, certifications, and change initiatives.
