Job summary

Continental BestDrive Commercial Tire Centers seeks a Tire Service Technician to perform mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repair of commercial vehicle tires across our US locations.

Eligible external candidates may receive a sign-on bonus with installments after 30, 90, and 180 days. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a DOT physical; safety and teamwork are essential. Join a global leader with a strong benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install tires & tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/Unload tires on and off trucks.
• Follow established procedures to inspect tires and wheels before and after service.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders with supervisors.
• Document work performed accurately.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Perform emergency road service calls on nights and/or weekends.
• Proper maintenance of assigned service vehicle and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA safety requirements.
