Job summary

Continental Tire the Americas, LLC is hiring a Tire Service Technician at BestDrive to service commercial tires, including mounting, dismounting, balancing and repair for heavy trucks and off‑road equipment. You will follow OSHA safety rules, operate heavy‑duty tire service equipment and perform on‑call emergency service as needed.

A valid driver's license, ability to lift 75–100 lbs, and DOT physical are required; sign‑on bonus program is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Ability to communicate, verbally and written, clearly and professionally with co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install tires & tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/Unload tires on and off trucks.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and make repairs.
• Review work orders and discuss with supervisors.
• Document work performed accurately and according to policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Unbolt and re-bolt wheels using lug wrenches and other tools.
• Mount/dismount off-road tires including multi-piece rims.
• Perform emergency road service calls on nights and/or weekends.
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA safety requirements.
