Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire-related failures at customer locations. The role involves emergency on-site tire service for semi-truck fleets and may include mounting tires, maintaining the shop, and supporting orders during slower periods.

Starting pay ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more. On-call rotation is required with double-time pay for after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Work at customer locations as an emergency roadside technician and support shop duties when idle.
