Are you a seasoned professional in the construction industry with a knack for overseeing commercial projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Commercial Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role will challenge you to use your skills in refrigeration, HVAC, concrete, commercial ground-up construction, tenant improvement, commercial remodeling, cost control, safety and risk management, and construction subcontractor management. You will also be tasked with implementing quality control measures to ensure all projects are completed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards.
2. Managing a team of construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they are well-coordinated and working efficiently.
3. Ensuring all safety and risk management protocols are adhered to, minimizing any potential risks.
4. Carrying out regular inspections and quality control checks, identifying any potential issues, and implementing solutions.
5. Liaising with clients, architects, and engineers, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring all parties are kept up-to-date with project progress.
6. Managing project costs, identifying any potential financial risks, and implementing cost-saving strategies where possible.
7. Overseeing the installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring they are installed correctly and efficiently.
8. Managing tenant improvements and commercial remodeling projects, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in refrigeration, HVAC, concrete, commercial ground-up construction, tenant improvement, commercial remodeling, cost control, safety management, risk management, and construction subcontractor management.
3. A strong understanding of quality control measures within the construction industry.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
6. A proven track record of managing project costs and implementing cost-saving strategies.
7. An in-depth understanding of safety and risk management protocols within the construction industry.
8. A strong attention to detail, with the ability to carry out regular inspections and identify any potential issues.
