Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking an experienced CDL driver to operate shuttle services at HOAG Hospital in Newport Beach. The role runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 1:15 pm, with some Saturdays possible. A valid CDL with passenger endorsement and DOT medical certification are required.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of CDL experience, be 21 or older, and possess English reading/writing ability. LAZ offers competitive pay and benefits while delivering safe, professional transportation

• K-4 DMV printout issued within last 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating company vehicles to transport passengers and employees.
• Greet, engage, and thank guests as part of the 100% G.E.T. standard.
• Assist passengers on boarding/exiting, including ADA passengers.
• Communicate effectively and work in a team to maximize productivity.
• Perform daily tasks as a professional driver with independence.

Position: Full-time - Commercial Shuttle Driver

Location: HOAG Hospital – Newport Beach

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5 am-1:15 pm

Available for some Saturdays as well

Pay Rate: $25.00/Hr

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Passenger Endorsement required
• DOT Medical Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience with a regular Class C license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• K-4 DMV printout (issued within the last 30 days) required
• Recent Passenger Commercial Vehicle Driving experience

Spirit Of The Position:

LAZ CDL Driver is responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.

Principal Job Duties:

Safely operating company vehicles.

• G.E.T. 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
• Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers, if applicable.
• Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
• Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.

Requirements

• 2 or more years with a CDL license.
• Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License with proper endorsement(s).
• Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Physical Demands

• Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs
• Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)
