Job summary

LAZ Parking in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced CDL Shuttle Driver to join our team. The role requires operating company vehicles, assisting passengers, and maintaining safety during transport of guests and staff.

You will work full-time with a flexible schedule in the Irvine area, earn $24/hour during training and $26/hour after probation, and enjoy benefits and opportunities for advancement with a leading parking company.

Qualifications

• Class A or B license with passenger endorsement.
• Air brakes.
• Medical Certification.
• At least 1 year of Class A/B passenger driving experience.
• Open availability.
• Ability to work in all regional locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating company vehicles.
• G.E.T. 100: Greet, Engage and Thank guests.
• Assist passengers when boarding/exiting, including ADA passengers.
• Communicate effectively and work in a team to maximize productivity.
• Perform daily tasks as a professional driver.

Requirments

• Class A or Class B license w/ Passenger Endorsement
• Air brakes
• Medical Certification
• Must have at least 1 year or more of Class A or B licensed passenger driving experience.
• Must have open availability
• Must be able to work in all locations affiliated with the region.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with a regular Class C license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• K-4 DMV printout (issued within the last 30 days) required
• Recent Passenger Commercial Vehicle Driving experience
• Live Scan is required by the City of Irvine.

Spirit Of The Position

LAZ CDL Driver is responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.

Principle Job Duties

• Safely operating company vehicles.
• G.E.T. 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
• Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers, if applicable.
• Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
• Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.

Requirements

• 1 or more years with a CDL license.
• Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License with proper endorsement(s).
• Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Physical Demands

• Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs
• Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)
